About the Milwaukee Beer Run 5k & .05k

The course runs out and back along the Oak Leaf Trail, a tree-lined path that brings you back through the finish line and straight into an Oktoberfest celebration at the Bavarian Bierhaus. The shorter distance option covers barely the length of a parking lot, which tells you something about the mood of the morning. Both routes finish in the same place, with live music and beer already flowing.

The Oktoberfest entry is folded into race registration, so there is no separate gate to deal with once you finish. The festival runs through the day, and the setting is Old Heidelberg Park, which gives the post-race stretch an open, outdoor feel rather than a parking-lot-party vibe.
