About the Glendale-River Hills Family Fun Run
The run loops around the grounds of a school campus, with no busy roads to cross. The walk option takes a different path, winding through the woods behind the same campus before circling back to the start. Both routes stay close to each other, which keeps the whole group together even if people split across the two distances.
The evening wraps up with an after-party at the finish area, with a DJ, dancing, and food. The glow walk kicks off after dark, so expect the later part of the night to have that quality. Packet pickup runs on race evening before the start, so there is no separate trip the day before.
