About the LESS Popular Brooklyn Half Marathon!
This race runs along the waterfront in Brooklyn, so you get open water views for most of the course. The name is the point: it is a deliberate alternative to the bigger, more crowded half marathon that shares the borough, and the field size reflects that. The atmosphere is closer to a neighborhood run than a large-scale event.
Everything happens at the American Veterans Memorial Pier, start and finish both. Bib pickup is there on race morning, opening well before the gun, so arriving early gives you time to settle in before the start. Baggage check is available at the start and finish area.
