About the Last Long Run Powered by Brooks Running
The course is a short loop around a lakefront area on the northeast side of Indianapolis. You decide how far you go, which makes the whole thing feel more like a group training run than a race. Water and restrooms are on site, and Brooks has demo shoes available if you want to try a pair before committing.
The event is hosted by Athletic Annex and runs for several hours on a morning, so you can arrive, log your miles, and leave on your own schedule. It is timed loosely around the local half marathon a short while later, so the crowd leans toward people doing a final long effort before race day.
