About the St Jude Autumnfest 5K

The course runs through the south side of Indianapolis, starting and finishing in the east parking lot near a church youth center. Course marshals and police officers are stationed along the route, so you are never left guessing which way to turn. The pace grouping at the start keeps things from getting crowded in the first stretch.

Packet pickup is in the same lot as the start, so there is no scrambling between locations. A physical therapy tent opens before the race for stretching. Afterward, there are meatballs from a local restaurant and fruit cups at the post-race gathering, along with door prizes for anyone who sticks around.
