About the Horneytown 5K - RUN for HOSPICE
The course runs through the Horneytown countryside on rolling roads, passing through land that sits just outside the city limits. There are no steep climbs, but the terrain moves gently enough to keep things honest. The fire department handles road safety throughout, so traffic is managed the whole way.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local taproom, where the bar is donating part of its sales that night to hospice care. Race-morning pickup is at the fire department, which also serves as the start area. Parking is spread across several nearby lots, with volunteers directing cars, and carpooling is strongly encouraged.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
