About the Golden Grizzlies Festival of Races
The course runs through Oakland University's campus and finishes with a lap around the track facility there. The organizers describe it as hilly enough that stroller pushers should come prepared, so expect some genuine elevation change rather than a flat campus loop. A coffee truck is on site after you finish, and sponsor tents with music keep the post-race area worth lingering in.
Packet pickup is race morning only, at the track facility where the race finishes. Parking is on campus, and the lot closest to the start fills early, so arriving with time to spare helps. You can register on the morning of the race up until shortly before the start.
