About the Neighborhood House Scare Away Hunger 5K

This is a Halloween-themed run that raises food for a local food pantry. Costumes are encouraged, and runners are asked to bring a canned food donation to drop off at the start. Pets in costume are welcome too. The shorter distance goes first, with the longer run following right after, and children's activities are set up once the fun run wraps.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Neighborhood House main office, with race-morning pickup available as well. There is a pancake breakfast on site, open to runners and spectators alike. Strollers are welcome and will be lined up toward the back of the field.
