About the 20th Annual Hometown Hustle 5K & 1 Mile Superhero Color Run/Walk

The Hometown Hustle runs along the Paint Creek Trail through Rochester, so the course has real scenery underfoot rather than parking lots and road crossings. The shorter color run route sends participants through a gauntlet of colored powder, and everyone doing that one gets a cape to run in. The five-kilometer route is timed or untimed, so you can race it or just move through it at your own pace.

After both races finish, the action shifts to the parking lot outside the credit union that hosts the event. There is music, dancing, and photo opportunities out there, and the school with the most participants wins a prize for their building, which means you will see a fair amount of coordinated group turnout.
