About the Frosty 5K

The course starts and finishes at Twin Lakes Park, heading out through the surrounding neighborhood via a park entrance on Ibis Avenue and looping back the same way. There is a dogleg with a u-turn past the halfway point, which briefly puts faster runners on the same road heading in the opposite direction. Everything is asphalt, so the footing is consistent throughout.

Packet pickup runs on the two evenings before the race at a local apparel shop and a restaurant nearby, with a race-morning option at the park pavilion. Parking at the park is free and plentiful, either in paved lots near the main Clark Road entrance or in grass areas near the baseball fields. The post-race gathering runs for a couple of hours after the first finisher crosses.
