About the 23rd Annual Boo Run
The Boo Run is a Halloween-morning race in Sarasota, and costumes are a real part of the day. There is a costume contest, and plenty of runners show up dressed for it. The course is the same one the race has used for years, described as family-friendly, so expect something accessible rather than technical.
The race benefits two local charitable foundations. Post-race, there are overall and age group awards for those racing it seriously, but the morning skews toward fun over competition.
