About the Fall Color 5K
The course runs through the east side of an arboretum, and the timing is deliberate: the race falls right when the trees are turning. The terrain rolls enough to keep things interesting without being a slog. It has the feel of a race built around a place rather than a distance.
After the finish, there is a post-race party with live music and food, and a beer is on hand. The race is part of the arboretum's broader Fall Color Festival, so the grounds are active well beyond the course itself.
