About the Lisle Turkey Trot Tune-Up 5K
The race is timed as a pre-holiday tune-up, giving runners a reason to get out and move before the seasonal stretch slows things down. A portion of what the race brings in goes toward a local scholarship fund, so there is a purpose behind the entry fee beyond the race itself.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at the Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce on Burlington Avenue, with race-morning pickup at the community park recreation center on Short Street. The start area is at that same park, so most runners can sort out their bib and get to the line without much scrambling.
