The course winds through the streets of Greenlawn and returns to the fire department headquarters where it started. The department puts the race on itself, which gives the morning a different feel than a typical road race. Halloween costumes are part of the deal, with awards for the best individual and group outfits alongside age-group results. First responders and healthcare workers have their own award categories too.
