The course starts and finishes at the high school and stays flat the whole way, with just a handful of turns through the surrounding neighborhood streets. It runs quickly underfoot, and the route is straightforward enough that you spend most of it looking around rather than watching your footing.

Packet pickup is available the evening before the race at the high school, with a second window on race morning. After finishing, there is hot chocolate and bagels, and the student jazz band plays near the start. An awards ceremony and raffle follow shortly after.
