About the Take Me to Your Pizza : Alien Dash 5K. 10K. Half Marathon

The course runs along a flat beach path in Long Beach, with ocean views for most of the route. It is the kind of terrain where you can settle in early and just watch the water go by. Several distance options mean the morning draws a wide range of people, and the alien and pizza theme gives the whole thing a deliberately silly character.

Registration and bib pickup happen on race morning, so there is no need to come out the day before. The finish line has hot cheese and pepperoni slices waiting, and there is a costume contest for anyone who shows up dressed as an alien, a pizza, or some combination of the two.
