About the Tailwagger Trot
This is a dog-friendly race, so expect leashes, wagging tails, and the occasional distraction on course. You can run with your dog or without one. The race is chip timed, with age group and overall awards for male, female, and non-binary finishers. The field tends to be a mix of serious runners and folks out for a good morning with their dogs.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Lisle Recreation Center. Race-morning pickup and registration open at the Lisle Bandshell Shelter before the start. Dogs must stay leashed on a standard leash; retractable leashes are not allowed, and owners are responsible for their dogs throughout.
