The course follows the Ohio River, so you have water alongside for most of the run. This is an untimed event, meaning there are no clocks to chase. The race is a fundraiser for a local food pantry, and it also counts toward a regional multi-race challenge series, with coin presentations held right after finishing.
The start is on River Ave., close to the riverbank. After the race there is a raffle on site, sponsored by a local funeral home.
