About the Sweetheart Run 5K and 10K
The Sweetheart Run leans into its Valentine's Day timing, with a couples team competition alongside the individual and age group awards. The course runs through Overland Park, and both a shorter and longer distance option share the same morning, so pairs who run at different paces can still race together on the same day.
Packet pickup happens over the two evenings before the race at a pair of local running stores, one in South Kansas City and one in Mission. If you miss both, packets carry over to race morning, though anything left unclaimed after the race may not be available once the event wraps up.
