About the Holiday Luminary 5K

The course runs through the Overland Park Arboretum in the evening, so you are moving through the holiday light display while it is still fresh, before the general public gets in. Aid stations along the way have cookies and holiday cheer rather than the usual water and gel. The finish area has a DJ, dancing, and more food.

Strollers are welcome, though there are a couple of grass detours on the route. Dogs are not allowed anywhere in the Arboretum gardens. Supporters can wait at the finish tent or near the start, and sections of the luminary walk open to them on a rolling basis as runners come through.
