About the SVdP Walk for Hope
The route options here range from a short loop around the Parkview Field Concourse to a longer out-and-back, all of it paved and accessible to walkers and runners alike. The course stays close to the stadium, so the surroundings are urban and familiar rather than scenic. The pace is whatever you make it, and the crowd skews toward families and groups walking together for a cause.
A tailgate opens before the walk, with food and fellowship in the parking area. Check-in runs in the window just before the start, so there is no need to arrive much earlier than that. The event is built around the afternoon rather than a morning race-day rush.
