Pineville, LA
The race is held at Fort Randolph State Historic Park, a historic site that gives the morning a little more character than a typical road course. The event is built around raising awareness for the foster care system, so the crowd tends to reflect that, with people there for the cause as much as for the running. Several distance options mean the whole group goes out together before splitting off.
