About the Summer Crush Brew Run 5k
The course runs through Summer Crush Vineyard and Winery, looping across grass and dirt paths among the vines. The surroundings are the draw here as much as the running, and the organizers acknowledge this openly: if you want a fast time, look elsewhere. The heat shaped the design, so the route doubles back on itself rather than running point to point.
Pickup happens at the vineyard on race morning, opening about an hour before the start. There is craft beer at the finish, along with a souvenir pint cup. Runners under drinking age get soda instead. Age group awards are self-serve: check your results online after finishing, then pick up your pin at the registration table if you placed.
