About the ALBUQUERQUE RUNNING FIESTA
The course runs through downtown Albuquerque, passing along the historic highway and reaching the Rio Grande, with the Sandia Mountains visible in the distance. The terrain is mostly urban, so expect pavement and intersections managed by police support, with cheer teams and volunteers spread across the route. Several distance options mean the field is a mixed crowd out there.
The finish brings a real celebration: live music, local food, vendors, and a beer garden. There is a recovery zone on site, and age-group awards are handed out after results are processed.
