The course runs through downtown Rockford, crossing several bridges over the Rock River and looping along East State Street, which is decorated for the holiday season. Davis Park serves as both the start and finish, putting you right in the middle of a larger street festival, with a parade, live music, and a tree lighting all happening the same day.
