About the Stratford Turkey Day Trot
The course starts and finishes on Main St in front of the Stratford Theatre, running through the heart of downtown. You turn through a historic residential stretch, loop around a park where a famous Shakespeare theater once stood before it burned down, and come back the way you went out. The route is flat, on roads, and moves at a pace the whole block can follow.
Packet pickup runs on the two evenings before the race at Riverview Bistro on Ferry Blvd, with a final early-morning window at the Masonic Auditorium on Main St on race day. After you finish, a food truck serving breakfast sandwiches, empanadas, and burritos is set up at the finish line, and a coffee café behind the theatre offers specialty drinks and pastries with a bib discount.
