About the Sportspectrum Turkey Trot
The run is based at Stoner Boat Launch, a riverside spot off Clyde Fant Parkway, on Thanksgiving morning. The route is flat along the water, easy to settle into from the first steps. The overall male and female winners each take home an actual turkey.
Packet pickup runs at Sportspectrum on Fern Avenue in the days leading up to the race, with a brief window at the start area on race morning as well. After the run, there is music and refreshments at the finish, so most people stick around for a bit before heading off to their Thanksgiving tables.
