About the Sportspectrum's Log Jammer Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K
The race starts and finishes in the Sportspectrum parking lot on Fern Avenue. The marathon and half marathon routes take you through the South Highlands neighborhood, where the early miles have real hills. The back half of the marathon flattens out considerably, which runners tend to appreciate after the climbing. Strollers are welcome as long as you seed yourself toward the back.
Packet pickup runs for several days before the race at Sportspectrum, the same building where you start. Race-morning pickup cuts off before the gun, so arriving early matters. Parking on race day is across the street, with a lot at a nearby home goods store and space at the bank. A bag drop is set up at the Sportspectrum trailer in the parking lot.
