About the Spooky Sprint 5k & 1 Mile

The course runs a tree-lined trail through Collegial Woods, which keeps things shaded and scenic even in early fall. Costumes are part of the deal, and the route includes trick-or-treat stations along the way. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome on the shorter distance, so the start area tends to draw a wide mix of people.

After the race, the YMCA hosts a fall festival on site, with games, face painting, a bounce house, and pool access. Race-morning registration opens well before the start gun.
