About the Spartanburg Run for Babies 5k
The course runs in and around a minor league baseball stadium, home of a local team, so the surroundings are more ballpark than park trail. The finish line sits behind the stadium before the field opens up, which gives the end of the race its own distinct moment. Pets are welcome on the course with a signed waiver, though they stay off the field itself.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local running shop called Hub City Runners, with race-morning pickup available at the Left Field Gate. Parking is in the stadium garage on Pollard Street. Age group awards are handcrafted, and the race benefits maternal and infant health through the Dimes organization.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Spartanburg Run for Babies 5k has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
