About the One Epic Run
The course runs through Croft State Park, a former World War II army training base now covered in wooded trail. The loop heads out toward the Southside on a route known for mud, and runners do as many laps as they choose, dropping a rock in a cup to keep count. Shared food at the aid stations replaces a formal setup.
Runners enter through the main park gate and follow signs toward the main office near the campground. The aid station is potluck style, so bringing something to share is part of the deal. The park charges a day-use admission at the gate, separate from race entry.
