About the Soar to the Nest 2026
The course starts and finishes on the track at a high school, heading out to a neighborhood park and back. The out-and-back shape means you pass other runners on the return, and those doing the longer distance cover the same stretch twice. The surroundings are residential El Paso, with the park as the turnaround point.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race inside the school building, with a race-morning option available as well. The start and finish are on the school track, so there is a clear gathering point when you arrive.
