About the Sheriff’s Zombie Run
This is a flag-belt zombie chase through El Paso, not a timed race in the usual sense. You start with flags representing your health, and costumed zombies try to strip them as you run. Finish with at least one flag and you survive. Finish without any and you cross as one of the undead. Speed helps, but so does reading the course.
Packet pickup runs at a location on Justice Street across several evenings before race day, with a window at the start line on race evening before the run begins. The finish festival starts immediately after the run wraps up.
