About the Smithville CIA 5K and Family Fun Run

The course starts at Heritage Park, runs out to a dam, and comes back the same way. The terrain is forgiving enough that strollers and dogs are a common sight, and bubble stations are set up along the route to mark your progress. The funds raised go toward youth mental health and substance use programs in Smithville.

Pancake breakfast is waiting at the finish. The race supports local causes, so the post-race crowd tends to stick around the park for a while.
