About the Sleepy Hollow Halloween 10K
The course winds through the historic heart of Sleepy Hollow, passing the cemetery, the Old Dutch Church, and a stretch along the Hudson River where the Headless Horseman Bridge comes into view. The setting does most of the work: this is genuinely the landscape the story came from, and running through it feels appropriately strange.
The start and finish are within walking distance of the Metro North station at Tarrytown, so driving is optional. Bag check is available on race day. Awards go to top finishers across a range of age categories, including adaptive athletes.
