About the Skidaway Island Half Marathon & 5k

The course runs through a gated island neighborhood outside Savannah, where marsh views open up between stretches of quiet residential road. Traffic is minimal, so the road feels almost private. The terrain is paved and nearly flat throughout, with glimpses of golf courses and the kind of waterfront scenery that does not usually come with a bib number.

Packet pickup is the evening before at a running store just off the interstate, with race-morning accommodation available if you reach out ahead of time. Parking is at the start and finish at an ocean science institute on the island. A shuttle option exists for later registrants, with details provided after signup.
