About the Silicon Valley Santa Run

The course runs along Santa Clara Street and finishes inside Christmas in the Park, so you end among the holiday light displays and vendor booths rather than at a bare finish line. Costumes are the norm here, with a contest at the start, and the afternoon timing gives the whole thing a different feel than a morning road race.

Packet pickup is hosted by Sports Basement Almaden in the days before the race. On race day, bib and gear check opens at the San Jose Chamber of Commerce building on West Santa Clara Street, giving you time to settle in before the start.
