The race runs along the Coyote Creek trail in costume, which gives it a character you do not find at most trail races. The path is a well-traveled corridor, so the surface is consistent underfoot, and the out-and-back shape means you see other runners coming and going. Costumes range from serious to absurd, and prizes go to the best ones.
