About the Sheldon Shuffle 5K
The Sheldon Shuffle benefits Exceptional Care for Children, a pediatric skilled nursing facility, funding therapy, music, art, and play for kids whose medical needs keep them from the kind of childhood most take for granted. That purpose is hard to miss on the course. The route runs through Newark, and the crowd reflects the cause.
Bib pickup and day-of registration happen in the hour before the start. After finishing, there are soft pretzels from Wawa and chocolate milk and yogurt from a local dairy farm.
