About the Deer Park Goes Pink 5K
The race starts and finishes at the Deer Park Tavern parking lot, with all proceeds going directly to the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. The course runs through the surrounding streets, and there is also a shorter walk option for those who want to participate without running the full distance.
The tavern's parking lot is closed to racers on race morning, so the nearby university parking garage on Main Street is the practical choice. Bib pickup happens in the parking lot shortly before the start, but there is also an early pickup option earlier in the week, with live music and drink specials upstairs at the Deer Park Tavern.
