About the Shamrock Shuffle 5k (Race 3 Tour de Patrick)

The course starts at the high school, with a short kids race on the track before the main field heads out into the surrounding area. It is a St. Patrick's Day themed race and the final stop in a series that moves through several cities during the season, so some runners arrive already having done a couple of earlier legs.

After the race, the gathering moves to a bar in East Greenwich called The Trap, a short drive from the start. Parents are welcome to run alongside the kids in the opening race, and the main field follows. Strollers need to seed toward the back, and pets are not permitted on course.
