About the Shake Your Tail Feather 5K
The course runs entirely inside a school campus, looping through both the elementary and secondary sides of the same grounds. It is a tight, contained route with no open roads to cross, which makes the surroundings feel close and the crowd easy to find no matter where you are on course.
Packet pickup runs the evening a couple of days before the race. Race morning has an organized warm-up before the gun, and a guided cool-down follows once the bulk of finishers are in. There are snacks, drinks, and refreshers at the finish, along with vendor booths and music.
