About the Good Shepherd 5k
The Good Shepherd 5K is an evening race in Edinburg, chip timed and open to all paces, with a shorter kids' distance running alongside the main event. The start is at a fixed address on Raul Longoria Road, so the course begins and ends in the same spot, making it easy for families to spread out and watch.
A Praise and Worship gathering starts immediately after the race wraps, so the finish line is more of a handoff than a goodbye. Packets not claimed by race morning are forfeited, so plan to pick yours up before the gun goes off.
