About the SGFMC Turkey Trot
This is a Thanksgiving morning run through the residential streets of Oak Park, starting and finishing at the St. Giles Gym on Linden Street. The route winds through the neighborhood on sidewalks, passing through several intersections where the organizers ask runners to stay alert. The course is not certified, which the organizers note with some good humor.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the gym, with race-morning pickup available as well. The gym is open only for restrooms and volunteers on race day, but there is an outdoor drop-bag area for extra layers. Avoid parking on the block of Linden right in front of the gym or in the alley behind it.

The SGFMC Turkey Trot has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
