About the Good Life Race
The course runs on flat roads starting and finishing at a high school in Oak Park. The routes are certified by USATF, so the distances are precisely measured. On race morning, a community fair lines the street outside, and the high school drumline and a middle school band perform, along with the Jesse White Tumblers inside the field house after the run.
Packet pickup is available at a local running store the two days before the race, with a final window at the high school on race morning. Free parking is available in the school garage and a nearby public garage. The venue is also walkable from Metra and CTA stops, and bike racks are on site.
