The course winds through the heart of Senoia, so you get the streets and character of a small town rather than a park loop. Routes are well marked and volunteers are posted along the way. The pace of the field tends to be wide open, with families and faster runners sharing the same start.
There is a post-race gathering at the finish with refreshments, music, and activities, so there is reason to stick around after you cross.
