About the Born to be Wild
The course runs mostly on road with a stretch of trail mixed in, all of it easy enough to handle in regular road shoes. It starts and finishes inside the Coweta County Fairgrounds, at a nature center. The trail section is manageable for most paces, though running strollers are recommended if you are bringing one.
The race supports conservation land work through the Southern Conservation Trust, and the morning has a family feel to it, with a short fun run going off before the main distances. Packet pickup opens before the start, and parking opens early enough to settle in without rushing.
