About the Sea Rim Striders' Annual Turkey Trot 5K

The course runs through downtown Beaumont on Thanksgiving morning, starting and finishing at The Event Centre. It is a holiday road race with several distance options, so there are fast runners chasing age group awards alongside parents pushing strollers with the little ones. Adaptive athletes have their own dedicated wave, which is a detail worth knowing if you are coming with a group of mixed abilities.

Post-race, sponsors set up a food and drink spread that includes beer, bananas, donuts, pickles, granola bars, electrolyte drinks, and a separate snack table just for kids.
