About the Schuylkill Navy Run
The course leaves from a boat club on Kelly Drive, works out to Brewery Hill, crosses the Girard Avenue bridge, and turns inland. Past Sweetbriar the pavement ends and the race goes genuinely cross country, through grass, past a monument, along a fence line, and up to a mansion on the plateau before returning to the river. The terrain is hilly and the surface changes underfoot.
This is a club-based rowing community race, so the field is mostly Schuylkill Navy members and affiliates, with a separate guest category for friends and family. The awards ceremony is held at a nearby rowing association after the finish, keeping the morning anchored to the boathouse scene along the drive.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
