About the Santa Scurry 5K - Keller, TX
The Santa Scurry runs at night, starting at Keller Town Hall and moving through the Bear Creek Trail System. The course is flat and moves quickly. Because the race follows the city's HollyDays parade and tree lighting, runners are already gathered at the start area watching fireworks before the horn goes off. Headlamps and light-up accessories are part of the dress code.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at a local running store on Rufe Snow Drive, and again at the Town Hall tents on race evening. Parking fills early because of the surrounding festivities; satellite parking with shuttle service is available nearby. Arriving well before the parade starts gives you time to settle in.
